Ashtanga is a traditional style of yoga passed down from Shri T. Krishnamacharya to Shri K. Pattabhi Jois in 1927. Jois preserved this practice and taught it to thousands of students until his passing in 2009. His daughter and grandson, Saraswati and Sharath Rangaswamy, continue teaching in this tradition at the Shri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore, India.

This practice is characterized by linking yoga postures with the breath, also known as "vinyasa." The dynamic connection of asana and breath helps students realign the spine, detoxify the body, build strength, flexibility and stamina.

Ashtanga is challenging, yet open to anyone who has an interest in developing a yoga practice.

We are not teaching until this Fall. Please stay tuned.
